I typically wear a medium but wanted this vest to fit nicely without a shirt/blouse underneath so I sized down. Love that it actually is a zipper and buttons, so there is no pull at the chest.

I purchased the vest in black. Out of the box the fabric felt nice: smooth, thick and heavy. I liked the concealed gold zipper in the front behind the buttons. Unfortunately, the V is not low enough such that it made my chest look largely oblong even with a bra on. I am petite, 5'2" with a short torso.
