My favorite LBD of the Year
I was privileged to see a picture of the Joanie dress before the launch. And I immediately knew I had to have it. What is special about the Joanie is its sophistication. It grazes over the knee without being a midi length that can be awkward, depending upon your height. The cap sleeve covers just the right amount of the shoulder. The neckline is a modulated sweetheart neckline so it allows for either a bare decolletage or the ability to wear a 16" or 18" inch necklace. And the waist. For those, like me, who have a small waist, it's a dream. It's a very womanly dress, but women of all ages can wear it. Best of all, I can wear this now in the cold, but also in the summer. Because of the placement of the waistline, I could add a sparkly belt to add dimension. I am a consistent size Large in the Ashley dress, and I took a Large here. If you know your SophieGrace size, stay true to that. Love.
